Each summer for the past seven years, Arts in Bartlett, the local 501 (c)3
nonprofit arts council, has presented Bartlett’s only juried fine arts show
with the support of local businesses and civic groups. Each year, it has
progressed into a more comprehensive Festival of the Arts, including not only
the visual arts with selected artists, but also music, dance, and theater. This
year the Festival moves to downtown Bartlett, with artists and snacks outdoors
in the Town Center area, children’s art activities and music in the pocket park
to the west, and the entertainment stage located at Banbury Fair in the next block.
Free parking, restaurants and shops surround the Festival.
Now, we invite you to share the spotlight as a sponsor of this much
anticipated community event. It provides you with a unique opportunity to connect
with the community in an exciting and entertaining environment, develop new
business relationships, and perform an important community service to Bartlett,
Illinois.
We
expect to draw nearly 3,000 visitors during the two days, June 26-27 from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. in downtown Bartlett. Art will
be for sale in a wide variety of media – oil and water color paintings, glass
art, sculpture, jewelry, photography, drawings, wood, fiber, and others. This year the Festival program with a
directory of the artists, entertainment schedule and sponsor ads will be
included as a pullout insert in the June 23, 2010, issue of the Bartlett Examiner, reaching 11,000
homes. Local businesses will be
contacted by the Bartlett Examiner directly
to support the Festival through low-cost ads and coupons in this special
insert, which will also be available at the Information Tent at the Festival.
