MISSION: The purpose of Arts in Bartlett is to improve the community by providing access to the arts. This 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, founded in 2002, brings diverse events to the Bartlett area, so that the multitude of cultural arts can be experienced and enjoyed by all.Through its activities, Arts in Bartlett wants to make the full variety of media and multicultural experiences accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, whether they want to create, actively participate, experiment,or simply appreciate the arts.

VISION: Arts in Bartlett envisions a community where the overall quality of life is enhanced and each individual is made richer through an open participation in the arts.

We invite you to be part of this exciting  group formed in 2002. We bring a variety of events to the Bartlett area so the many types of cultural arts can be experienced by people of all ages and back- grounds. In addition, we provide the opportunity for local talent to showcase their work  right here in their own community.                  

The Gallery at Bartlett Center for the Arts, 117 W. Railroad, has art and jewelry all handmade by local artists for sale. The Center also has workshops and events to increase access to the arts for all.

 Here’s just a few current activities: 

►8th Annual Festival of the Arts, June 26-27, 2010, with art, musc & entertainment in downtown Bartlett

►Bartlett’s only community chorus — the International Chorus practices every Wednesday at Victory Centre; all  are welcome

Village Hall Gallery Exhibits, Artist Receptions, Gallery Talks , 228 S. Main St., 2nd Floor 

Bartlett’s Center for the Arts at 117 W. Railroad displaying and selling local artists’ work on commission; now accepting new artists 

 ►An official stop on the Passport to Advenue and Children’s Art Activities at local events

► Annual scholarships to high school seniors

Holiday party and annual meeting in Dec.

By becoming a member now, you’ll be first to get information on activities and programs during the year. Some events, programs and classes are members-only events or discounted for members.  Most valuable of all, you’ll benefit from  having  access to the arts nearby.
