Artist Gathering, 7 – 9 p.m., August 15, Arts in Bartlett, 215 S. Main St.

At this month's meeting (Tuesday August 15 at 7 pm) our very own Kate Burlette is going to demonstrate playing with Alcohol Inks. We will paint on ceramic tiles and Yupo (synthetic paper) to experience different surfaces. Besides dripping the ink onto the paint surface, we will use straws to blow on the ink to move it; blending solution and alcohol to create interesting shapes and values.

What to bring:
Most important: bring yourself with a fun attitude. Kate will provide most of the supplies. However, please bring your own brush, and protective clothing in case of paint/ink  splatters.

 RSVP to Marianne farven@prodigy.net

The Arts in Bartlett Artist’s Group is a casual group that likes to talk about art, events, exhibits, techniques, etc… don’t be shy, come have an evening out with like-minded artists.
