Festival

Arts in Bartlett, the local 501 (c)3 nonprofit arts council, in cooperation with the Village of Bartlett, Hanover Township, Bartlett Park District, Hanover Park Sister Cities Committee, and the Village of Streamwood Community Relations Committee present an event to celebrate the diversity within our community. Last year 2,500 enjoyed a colorful, exciting, inclusive weekend of multicultural music, art, crafts, dance, food, and audience participation events that brought together people of all  nationalities represented in our area.

The Festival is in Bartlett Park, the beautiful shaded park at Oak and North Avenue just north of downtown Bartlett on Saturday & Sunday, June 23-24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Booths for ethnic artists/crafters/free trade shops/food artisans/nonprofits will be throughout the park, with a family activity center. The main stage will feature musical acts and dancers. Another area will host participatory activities such as yoga, martial arts, dance lessons, drumming circles, henna art. The Gazebo will contain a Family Global Story Circle and multicultural crafts.

Booths

Eligible booths are those that represent world cultures in art/crafts, artisan foods, or a nonprofit group. All artists must supply their own tents if needed, booth structures, as well as display boards, tables and chairs. A limited number of 6 ft. tables are available for $10, first come-first served. Surface is grass. Stakes are allowed in grass but you cannot drive your vehicle on it.

These booths are open to all folk, fine artists, crafters, fair trade and other ethnic shops whose items for sale express world cultures. Although this is not a juried booth, we request 2 photos by email: one of the items for sale and a booth photo if you have one. The festival reserves the right to reject inappropriate or items that are not well made. Imported goods are allowed.

Price is  $175 for both days, $10 more for 6 ft. table rental. Click here to download the booth application. Nonprofits selling items pay $75 for booth space for both days. Select the nonprofit option on the payment button below. Nonprofits providing only information and not selling can have a space free as long as there is room. Food vendors

To be accepted as a food vendor for the GLOBAL  ARTS  FESTIVAL, please fill out the attached form and pay by May 15, 2018. We prefer vendors who offer ethnic foods but will consider others as long as it does not duplicate food offered by other vendors.

We limit the number of food vendors. The earlier you commit and we receive your payment; the better we are able to serve your interest. The commercial food vendor’s fee is $175 for a space which includes both Saturday and Sunday. For nonprofits selling items the booth is $75, nonprofits not selling and providing information only, there is no cost. You can mail a check to Arts in Bartlett, 215 S Main St, Bartlett IL 60103 or pay by credit card here.
