Ramia Mahood - Artist Biography

The “Lady of the Planet” exhibition is a tribute of love and devotion to the memory of my father, the late pioneering artist. It realizes a shared dream spanning two generations - an artistic project we had planned together to blend his work with mine in February 2021.

POV Exhibit

POV (Point Of View) judged art exhibit on display from July 7 through September 30, 2026, in the Arts in Bartlett Gallery.

Winners

1st Place – $300 Walk in Muir Woods by Marianne Andersen, oil on canvas, size: 18x28", not for sale

2nd Place – $200 Her Name Was David by Chris Chapa, mixed media, size: 36x48", $1,800

3rd Place – $100 Baby Girl's Dream by Jeffery Rutter, color pencil and oil, size: 24x18", $1,250

Reception Choice Award – $100 prize (votes submitted at exhibit reception) Colors in Time by Cheryl Lazopoulos, acrylic and enamel, 36x36", $250

Artist Reception - Friday, August 7 from 7pm - 9pm at Arts in Bartlett

POV (Point Of View) Exhibit features works from 21 local artists who submitted to the judged exhibit in June.

Thirty-six pieces were chosen and hung in two gallery rooms. Displayed works are eligible for cash prizes and accolades awarded during the Artist Reception.

Prizes include 1st Place – $300, 2nd Place – $200, 3rd Place – $100 and Reception Choice Award – $100 prize based on live votes submitted at Exhibit Reception.

Qualified local judges will determine winners. Winners to be announced at Exhibit Reception on August 7, 2026.
