Cathleen is a local artist with a studio at Arts in Bartlett. She recently revived her love for making art, hence the show name. Cathleen is a vibrant artist with a talent for seeing the beauty in all she touches.

Too Serious

You get too serious and all the colors fade

All you see is black and white, no other shade

Everything is so defined you just can’t learn

And all of your originality starts to burn

White flames and dark black tainted smoke

You catch one small breath you begin to choke

Choking on your smallest one with nothing

Like a black and white turkey and bland stuffing

Others have to turn their heads and look away

Knowing you’ll see no fun on a beautiful day

It won’t be long, and you’ll be standing all alone

And no one will answer when you see your phone
