In 2010, a delegation from Bartlett, including the Arts in Bartlett International Chorus and the Chicago Hakka Chorus toured Taiwan and signed a Sister City Agreement between Miaoli City and the Village of Bartlett.

In 2020, the 10th Sister City Anniversary included a photo exhibit in the Bartlett Village Hall, 2nd floor art gallery, titled “10 Year Retrospective of the Sister City” and a spring concert with the Bartlett High School choruses and the Hakka Chorus. Plus, Bartlett received 10,000 medical masks as a gift from its Sister City Miaoli City, Taiwan.

In 2022, the Midwest Hakka Association will be participating in the Arts in Bartlett coordinated Bartlett Village Hall Art Gallery exhibit during March/April.
