Success with Color in Three Sessions!
Join Jamie Rosser Reeves for a series of color theory classes that begin with the basics and build to teach color highlight and shadow techniques. Students ages 12 - adult are encouraged to attend the classes in the 1-3 order, but this element is not required.
Color Theory I - Learn about the color wheel and how colors relate to each other. Learn to use a painter’s palette to mix colors together. Participants will create their own color-block art piece using paint on canvas. Dates:

Color Theory II - Learn how to create color schemes using a color wheel. Study how different combinations of color can be used to evolk different emtions. Participants will create their own original mandala art using paint of canvas. Dates:

Color Theory III - Learn how to color layers adding highlights and shadows to create a sense of depth and realism. Participants will color their own art piece from a visual reference using colored pencils on paper. Dates:

Cost per class: $15/$20 AIB member, $20/$25 non-member
