Fibs Art Studio

Valerie is an artist, teacher, and overall nerd. She received her bachelor's in Art Education at Illinois State University and taught K-8th grade art for 4 years. Valerie decided to take a break from teaching in public schools to work on her dream of owning her own art studio and cultivating the love of art in others, young and grown-up. Her goal is to have a place where ALL feel welcome and safe to create and take chances with their art, as artists.

Therefore "Fibs Art Studio" was created!  private art lessons and classes for all skill levels, ages, and mediums. Valerie's personal favorite mediums to teach include watercolor, acrylic, drawing, crochet, mixed media, and cardboard sculpture.
